I have spent the last week with my grandparents in Rome, Ga. I’ve had a relaxing time and have spent barely any time thinking about work. Even the “fun” projects that I brought up here to work on have been forgotten in favor of reading “Salt, A World History“. We’ve not done much of anything. A trip to Berry College was cut short because of rain, but we did enjoy out excursion to the Tennessee Aquarium.
If you are ever in Rome, you owe it to yourself to stop by Debbie’s, located in Evan’s store, at the corner of Highway 100 and Huffaker Road for some biscuits. My favorite is the bacon, egg and cheese but the other 5 varieties that I’ve had this week have all been delicious.
I’ve posted seventy-something pictures from the trip at my grandfather’s website. There are a lot of great pictures of my wife and son. I also scored quite a few nice nature shots, of which this is my favorite…
